Does Postre Cakery deliver?

Yes we do! Postre Cakery delivers to all Jakarta areas. The minimum order for delivery is 150K. Please allow one day window for delivery. We offer a personal delivery service 7 days a week from 10AM to 6PM.

For all pick-up and delivery orders, we kindly request payment in advance. Our delivery drivers do not accept cash on delivery.

Please note if your order is likely to be intercepted (e.g. a reception or security), its arrival with you/the recipient may be delayed and is beyond the control of our delivery drivers. If you are sending this order as a gift, we recommend you contact the recipient so that they can liaise with their reception or security in order to receive their cakes as soon as possible.

Can I order online? How can I do this?

Ordering online with Postre Cakery is easy! All you have to do is to click ‘Shop’ at the top of the page, choose the product you’d like to order and click ‘Buy’. Then you select the quantity of cakes you would like. Once payment has been accepted, you will receive a confirmation email.

What is the minimum spending online?

Customers are advised that the minimum spend online is now 150K.

What is the cut off time for online ordering?

The cut off time for placing online orders for next day collection or delivery is 3 PM the day before the order is needed. This is subject to kitchen availability.

Can I order in store?

Yes, you can. You may pre-order your cakes in store or by phone. Our crew will be happy to take your order and payment at the point of ordering. But the best way to place an order is through our online ordering system.

I need to cancel or amend my order. How can I do this?

To cancel or amend an order, please call or WA at 0812 8500 3088. We’d very much appreciate if you would let us know of any cancellations or changes 48 hours before your order is due to be collected or delivered.

I haven’t received my confirmation email. What can I do?

Occasionally our confirmation email may find its way into your spam or trash folder. Please check these folders and allow plenty of time for the confirmation email to be sent through – it may not be received immediately. Please contact our number at 0812 8500 3088

Why is there a minimum order requirement?

We bake all our cakes fresh to order from scratch and insisting upon minimum order amounts mean that our customers get the best value for money when ordering from us.

Can I pay for my order over the telephone?

Please note that we are unable to take credit card payments for orders over the phone. Payments for telephone orders can be made via bank transfer to:

Why do you have limited stock of whole cakes in your cake shop?

Whole cakes are freshly baked to order so to avoid waste and ensure the best value is passed on to our customers.

Why do some cake ranges need to be pre-ordered?

Some of our cakes and ranges need to be pre-ordered to allow the orders to be fulfilled in time. Pre-ordering means that we can deliver quality cakes made to order without cutting corners.

Why can’t I choose my specific delivery time?

Deliveries are organized so that all of our customers receive their cakes as soon after baking as possible. This means that delivery routes have to be planned efficiently, taking into account Jakarta traffic and rush hours. This does unfortunately mean that we cannot guarantee specific delivery times.


The following storage methods are our best suggestions, but our products are always best on day of purchase. All products should be stored in air-tight containers

Cupcakes

Keep cupcakes at room temperature. Cupcakes taste best when eaten the same day they are purchased, but if you need to store them over night, enclose them in an air-tight container at room temperature.

We recommend chilling your cupcakes 1 hour prior to traveling to firm up the cream cheese frosting, which will help to keep them looking perfect until you arrive at your destination.

Cakes

Only refrigerate if storing longer than 24 hours, which should always be refrigerated. All cakes should be taken out of the fridge 15 minutes before serving for best flavour.

How do I cut my cake?

For clean slices, keep your cake knife in a pitcher of hot/warm water between slices. It will help give clean, sharp edges with each slice.

Does Postre Cakery offer any gluten-free, vegan, sugar-free or dairy-free products?

Yes, we do. Postre Cakery is pleased to offer custom order and we are constantly adding new flavors to our menu. However, we are not an allergen-free cake shop so there may be traces of nuts in our products.

Can I customize my order? Do you do custom cake, cupcake or cookie designs?

Yes! Our highly skilled cake designers are professionally trained and have many years of experience in cake decorating. We welcome ideas and suggest bringing inspirational materials such as your event invitation, pictures and color swatches to create your perfect design.

How do I schedule a wedding cake, cupcake, cookie & dessert table consultation?

How far in advance should I order custom products? 

For weddings we suggest 3-6 months in advance. For any other custom orders require 2 (two) weeks notice.

Do you have dessert displays to rent? 

Yes, we offer cupcake tower rentals and dessert table equipment rentals. Please email us at marketing@postrecakery.com for more information.

How many people do your cakes serve?

Does Postre Cakery products Halal?

Yes, of course. We use halal ingredients in every product (e.g. beef or fish gelatin in marshmallow, non-alcohol, etc)
